</span><br />Patrick A. Deo, 82, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Blake Hospital, Bradenton, FL. His daughters invite all who knew Patrick to attend the Memorial Service to be held at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Blvd., Sun City Center, FL on Thursday, February 28 at 11 a.m. There will also be a luncheon afterwards to which all are invited and are welcome to share their wonderful memories of Patrick.</p>
<p>Born in Newark, Patrick lived in West Orange, Point Pleasant, Manchester and in Sun City Center, FL for the past twelve years. After graduating Irvington High School and Seton Hall University with a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, he entered the Army serving during the Korean War and receiving the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He first worked as a math teacher for two years.</p>
<p>He then began his career with Grand Union Supermarkets in 1958; he retired as its president and chief executive officer in 1991. Patrick Deo was a well-recognized leader in the food retail industry, accomplishing many achievements and honors during his career. Patrick enjoyed a 22-year retirement: he was an avid golfer and boating enthusiast, earning his captain’s license; he volunteered annually for the senior citizens preparing tax returns. Patrick truly treasured family vacations, especially in Disney World with his grandchildren.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by his wonderful wife June (O’Connor), whom he greatly missed. Surviving are his devoted daughters Terri Cowan, husband John, and their children Nicole and Johnny, and Nancy Colavito and husband Vincent, and their children Michael and Alyssa. </p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or a charity of your preference would be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;"><strong>Raymond (Ted) M. Henshaw</strong></span><br />Raymond (Ted) M. Henshaw, 86, of Sun City Center, Florida passed away January 31, 2013. A graduate of Brown University, he also served his country as a flight engineer on a B-17 during World War II.</p>
<p>He retired from Exxon after spending most of his working career living overseas from the Caribbean to South America, England to Scotland, and finally in Saudi Arabia. </p>
<p>Survivors include his son Allan with daughter-in-law Debbie; daughter Robin; son Dave and daughter in law Randi, son Bruce; son Graham and daughter-in-law Laurel; and daughter Missy, along with nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. </p>
<p>A Memorial Service for Ted will be Monday, February 18, 2013 at 1 p.m. at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, 1015 Del Webb Blvd. E in Sun City Center, FL 33573. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Sun City Center Emergency Squad. He will be laid to rest at Kensico Cemetery in New York.</p>
