<p>Adrian Joseph Coffield passed away peacefully at 12:58 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was 89 years old. Adrian is survived by his wife Suzanne Townsend and her three children.</p>
<p>Adrian worked for Grand Trunk Railroad for most of his life as an electrician in the Detroit, Michigan area. He and his wife of 61 years, Elmira LeFaive Coffield, spent their later years living in Sun City Center, Florida, where Adrian played baseball well into his sixties and also enjoyed the game of golf. Elmira passed away in 2005. Adrian is survived by their four children: Patricia Coffield Laverty, Barry Coffield, Michael Coffield and Pamela Coffield Melcher, and their spouses, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Eileen Sakowski of Warren, Michigan.</p>
<p>A funeral Mass will be held for Adrian at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. Prior to the Mass a brunch will be held in the Prince of Peace Church hall at 9:30 a.m.</p>
<p>A private family burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL 33573.</p>
