Elizabeth A. Robbins

<p>On Monday, June 17, Elizabeth Anthony Robbins, 89, of Sun City Center, passed away peacefully at her home from complications of congestive heart failure and leukemia.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Elizabeth (&ldquo;Toni&rdquo;) was born October 17, 1923 in New Bedford, MA. She graduated from high school in Newton, MA in 1941, and attended LaSalle Jr. College. She married Spencer E. Robbins, a naval officer, on November 29, 1942.</p>
<p>As a Navy wife and mother, she lived in many locations across the country, as well as overseas in Japan and Turkey. She and Spencer raised five sons during their more than 60 years of marriage. She and Spencer lived in Apollo Beach for 11 years and moved to Kings Point, Sun City Center in December 2002. Spencer passed away suddenly in 2003.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Toni is survived by their sons Thomas (Nancy), Spencer II (Marlene), Stephen (Laura), Jeffrey (Sue), and Douglas (Jill); 15 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters Anne and Ruth.</p>
<p>A memorial service for Toni Robbins was held Wednesday, June 26 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, followed by entombment at the Garden of Memories Mausoleum in Tampa.&nbsp;</p>
