<p>William (Bill) Heron, 86, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2013 in Florida.</p>
<p>Bill is survived by wife Pat Heron of Sun City Center; sons Bill Maue and his wife Tracy of Ruskin, FL, and Dale Heron and his wife Christa of Annapolis, MD; grandchildren William J. Maue, Michelle Willson, Lisa Maue, Rachael Heron; and five great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He is also survived by brother Jackie, and sisters Jeanne Patrusch, and Janet Synan. He was preceded in death by brothers Robert and David.</p>
<p>Bill was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, son of Zeke and Blanche Heron. He worked most of his career at the Blawnox Mill and Machinery Company in Pittsburgh, where he started as an apprentice and worked his way to manager of the machine shop and then lead estimator before retirement. Locally, he worked for a short time at the B&M Precision Corporation in Ruskin to stay active in early retirement.</p>
<p>Bill was an avid hunter, mechanic, and skater. He and wife Pat won multiple skating dance titles, and were eight-time Pennsylvania State Champions, eight-time Eastern Regional Champions, and placed in the National Championships before becoming professional instructors.</p>
<p>Bill was an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge in Ruskin.</p>
