<p>Edward J. Pessolano, 89, of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away September 14, 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the first wave on Omaha Beach and retired as Head Bartender for Club 21 in New York City, NY. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Eleanor, a son, two grandchildren and his sister, Sister Christina Pessolano, CSJB.</p>
<p>A funeral mass was held Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, Fla. Interment was with Military Honors at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Father Tom Coughlin, Dominican Missionaries, 143 Honeysuckle Lane, San Antonio, Texas. Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home.</p>
