<p>Elinore Scheibe Turpin, 105, of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away Aug. 1, 2013 at Palm Garden of Largo.</p>
<p>Born in Cloquet, Minn., she came to this area 33 years ago from Fort Myers. Her career was with the U.S. State Department, working with the Foreign Exchange Program. She was a member of the Golf and Racquet Club and a charter member of the Kings Point Lawn Bowling Club.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Allan F. Turpin. Survivors include sons Allan Jr. of Sun City Center, and Bill of Raleigh, NC.; daughter Susan of Largo, Fla.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.</p>
