<p>Joan Keller, 83, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Kewannee, Illinois, left her earthly body and entered the Gates of Heaven on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. The family is sure she was met with much rejoicing by her parents, Ed and Mary Keller, sisters Mary Hummer and Barb Szymanski, her brother Ed, and many, many loved ones. Little did we know that morning that God was calling her home.</p>
<p>Joan is survived by sisters Marcella Keller and Pat Herzberg, both of Sun City Center, and Beverly Pond of Coal Valley, Ill., 12 nieces and nephews; and many grand-nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>During her lifetime, Joan touched many lives with her love of life, her kindness and the funny things she said and did. Let her memory remind us to live with kindness, joy and laughter.</p>
<p>A celebration of Joan’s life will be held in Kewannee, Ill.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in her name.</p>
