Lorraine K. Caldwell, 91, of Riverview passed away December 9, 2013. Lorraine was born July 29, 1922, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late James and Hattie Mae Bailey, Sr. Lorraine opened the first beauty salon in Riverview and provided services for 40 years.</p>
<p>Lorraine’s body will rest next to her husband’s, the late Malcolm Caldwell, in Hackney Cemetery. Per her wishes, there will be no services. Lorraine is survived by sons Roger Van Fleet and Herbert Van Fleet; daughters Jacqueline Nanwani and Ginger Hodge; brother Cecil Bailey; sisters Marjorie Patterson, Barbara LeDoux, and Lois Hart; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bradenton Gospel Tabernacle, 1218 7th Ave. East, Bradenton, Florida 34208.</p>
