<p>Robert M. Margosian, 87, passed away January 4, 2014.</p>
<p>He was born in Boston, Mass. Robert moved to Farmington, Conn. where he and his family lived for 40 years, retired to Wells, Maine in 1987 and happily moved to Sun City Center, Fla. in 1999.</p>
<p>Robert served three years with the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific as an Aviation Metalsmith.</p>
<p>After earning B.A. and Master’s in Library Science degrees, his career included working as a librarian at the Watertown (Mass.) Public Library and the Hartford (Conn.) Public Library, in an insurance agency, as the Supervisor of Corporate Records with CIGNA Corp. in Bloomfield, Conn. and, for several years, as an Assistant Secretary in CIGNA Field Properties Department.</p>
<p>Upon retirement, Robert started “Your Pet’s Portraits”, a professional pet photography business that benefited animal shelters and veterinarians.</p>
<p>In Sun City Center, Robert volunteered with the Sun City Center Emergency Squad and was an avid reader and card player.</p>
<p>He is survived by his loving wife Teresa (Roubian) of 64 years; loving son Kirk D. Margosian and his wife Catherine, and loving daughter Robin Margosian Carr and her husband Michael; and treasured grandsons Ethan Carr and his wife, Lindsay, Trevor Carr and Gabriel Jon Margosian.</p>
<p>A memorial service was held on January 11, 2014 at the Sun City Christian Center, 17566 U.S. Hwy 301 South in Wimauma.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sun City Center Emergency Squad, 720 Ray Watson Dr., Sun City Center, FL 33573. Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home.</p>
