<p>Margaret H. (Peg) Staple of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away peacefully on February 20, 2014, after a brief illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on November 10, 1922, and was a graduate of Ohio University. </p>
<p>Peg was married for almost 60 years to John (Jack) Staple, who predeceased her. They lived for many years in Fair Haven, N.J., where they raised their three children. In retirement they moved to Sun City Center, where Peg was an active volunteer at the Sun City Center Library, the Weavers’ Guild, Sew ’n Sews and St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Peg was well known for her infectious optimism and sense of humor, as well as her many contributions to the community. </p>
<p>She is survived by children Elizabeth Thompson, Peter Staple and Nancy Koch; grandchildren Aaron Staple, Jennifer Rioual, Rebecca Staple, Allison Koch and Katy Thompson; and sisters Gina Anderl and Dixie Arbuckle. </p>
<p>There will be no public memorial service, but condolences to the family may be sent care of Betsy Thompson, 754 S. Oakland Ave., Pasadena CA 91106, and donations in her memory may be made to the Sun City Center Library.</p>

<p>Arthur “Art” Whisman, Jr., 71, of Apollo Beach, Fla., passed away on February 25, 2014. </p>
<p>He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kathleen Whisman; son Thomas M. (Jennifer) Schloss II of Beaverdam,Va.; grandchildren Amanda, Dylan and Cassidy; mother Anna Belle Newton of Albany, Ga.; sister Katherine Hardison (Charles) of Leesburg, Ga.; many brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many, many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.</p>
<p>A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to LifePath Hospice of Sun City Center, FL.</p>
