<p>Marilyn Kempke, 83, a resident of Sun City Center, died on Sunday, March 9, 2014, after a long illness. She was born December 20, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Central High School in Lima, Ohio, and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education and held several teaching positions in Ohio. She and her husband of 48 years, the late Harvey Kempke, moved to Sun City Center in 1987.</p>
<p>She and her late husband were active members of the United Methodist Church in Sun City Center and both were greatly loved and cherished by their friends and family.</p>
<p>A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, at Palms-Robarts Funeral & Memorial Park, 5200 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34232.</p>
