Alan E. Rich

<p>Alan E. Rich, 87, passed away on March 14, 2014. He is survived by Joan, his wife of 61 years. He leaves behind brother Paul Rich, and two sisters, Gene Perry and Betty Craigie.</p>
<p>Alan grew up in South Newbury, N.H. He attended school at Plymouth State College, Franklin and Marshall College, the University of Maine and the University of New Hampshire. He was a teacher and coach in small schools throughout New Hampshire. He retired from the N.H. State Department Educational System.&nbsp; He was an avid golfer and was the past president of the Sun City Center Men&rsquo;s Golf Association. He was a committee member of the United States Golf Association.</p>
<p>A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church,&nbsp; 702 Valley Forge Blvd., Sun City Center.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alan&rsquo;s name to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home.</p>
