Charles DeRico

<em>“For one brief shining moment, </em>
<em> there was a spot known as Camelot”</em>

Charles J. (Chuck) DeRico was born January 16, 1926, in Wayne, Pa. Charles entered Heaven September 13, 2014. He was predeceased by his youngest son Charles DeRico and his parents Joseph and Rose Parella DeRico.

Chuck was in the printing business in Wayne and Philadelphia for many years. He worked for <i>The Philadelphia Enquirer</i>.

Chuck served in the Pacific during World War II in the Navy.

He moved to Florida in 1994, retiring to Sun City Center.

He is survived by wife Vonnie; son Vincent DeRico of Stowe, Vt.; stepchildren Arlene Hunsinger of Wimauma, Jeff Hasty of Powder Springs, Ga., Lynne Phillips of St. Cloud, Fla., and Lesley Cravey of Pennsylvania; grandchildren Chuck and Dominick of Pensylvania; and cousins Florence and Angie.

At Charles’ request, there will be no funeral or memorial. Just do a good deed for someone and say, “That’s from Chuck,” was his request.
