Jesse Johnson Morgan Jr., 84, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away at home September 22, 2014.
A highly accomplished jazz trumpeter, music buff, avid golfer and lover of history and language, Jack retired in 1992 after serving as headmaster of private schools in New Jersey, Florida and West Virginia.
Predeceased by parents Jesse J. Morgan and Helen M. Morgan, and brother David M. Morgan, he is survived by Doris Hammond Morgan; children Jesse J. Morgan III, Cheryl A. Morgan and Peter M. Morgan; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Nov. 22 in Harwich on Cape Cod, Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
