Jean Thomas Ford

Jean Thomas Ford, 87, passed away at Hospice House on October 6, 2014. She was born in Newport, Wales, and came to Ohio as a GI war bride. She and her late husband Carl Ford moved to Sun City Center in 1996 and they were loved by all.
Jean is survived by daughters Saundra Manin and Heidi Gillespie; grandchildren Fawn VonGunten, Bryan Warner (Kelly), Jonathan Gillespie (Sheree Greer), Kenneth Gillespie (Kristen) and Robert Gillespie II; and great-grandchildren Kera Gillespie, Scotlyn VonGunten and Brody Warner.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m., at United Community Church in Sun City Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL.
