Lawrence J. Stroh Jr., 78, of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of East Amherst, N.Y., went home to be with Jesus his Lord and Savior on November 14, 2014.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara; children Lynda (Tony) Osterstuck, Lauren (Glen) Vanderzalm, Kim (Ken) Allen and Lawrence J. (Ruthie) Stroh III; grandchildren Lindsey, Bobby, Bradley, Jaime and Lawrence J. IV; sister Jacqueline (William) Kollatz; and brother Robert (Marian) Stroh. He was preceded in death by father Lawrence J. Stroh Sr. and mother Mary Ann Stroh.
He retired as Journeyman Electrician with IBEW 41 in Buffalo, N.Y. and moved to Sun City Center in 2001. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the SCC Leathernecks.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, at United Community Church, 1501 La Jolla Ave., Sun City Center. Arrangements by SCC Funeral Home.
