Mary (McCue) Ryan, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Wayzata, Minn., went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on December 2, 2014.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ray Ryan;  parents Michael and Cora McCue; brothers John and Emmett; and sister Cora Ellen.

She is survived by daughters Mary Jo (Al) Rollins, Pamela (Tom) Nichols, Lynne (Bruce) Mallory, and Sharon (John) Engelbert; 11 grandchildren: Ray (fiancée Susan) Rollins, Neil (fiancée Srey) Rollins, Ted (Jenny) Nichols, Scott (Shawn) Nichols, Jim (Keegan) Nichols, Joe Nichols, Kaleen (Scott) Martin, Kevin Nichols, Kelly Mallory, Ana Engelbert and Alex Engelbert; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mary was born March 9, 1924, in Belle Plaine, Minn. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School and Business College. She met the love of her life, Ray Ryan, a lieutenant JG Naval officer, and married August 10, 1944. They settled to raise their family in Wayzata.

Throughout her life, she was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; her family was her passion.  She loved to cook and entertain and used her creative talents in crochet, knitting and sewing.  She was an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center. She will be greatly missed by her family and always be remembered as a gracious, lovely, courageous woman.

Funeral Mass was held Dec. 9 at Saint Anne Catholic Church in Ruskin.Services will be held in Minnesota at a future date. Memorials preferred to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 3001 Metro Drive, #100, Bloomington, MN 55425.
