Peter Frank Eakers, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away January 4, 2015.
He is survived by daughter Cheryl Gilmour; son David Eakers; grandchildren Heather and Hayley; three great-grandchildren; and brother Mark (Bess) Eakers.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at St. John the Divine, 1015 E. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City Center.

Louise Kohnle, born in Chicago, Ill., of parents Josef and Lydia Ortmeyer, passed away on January 17, 2015, at age 80.
Her family moved to Germany when she was 2 and lived there through World War II. Her father was presumed dead as a prisoner-of-war in Yugoslavia, so her mother returned to Chicago with Louise and her younger sister Gita. Her mother later remarried and the family moved to the Black Forest near Colorado Springs, Colo., where she graduated from high school. There she met Albert Kohnle. They married and spent the next 26 years dedicated to the U.S. military life, moving back and forth between stations in the U.S. and tours in Germany. They settled in Florida in August 1979, spending their final years in Sun City Center, Fla.
Louise was an accomplished singer who had no formal training. She derived much pleasure from singing with the United Community Church Choir, the Women’s Chorus, the German-American Club Singers, and with others in Sun City Center.
Louise is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Albert; daughters Lory (Brent) and Deni (John); granddaughters Ryanne, Jessica and Erika; great-grandsons Rush, Miles and Michael; and sister Gita McGee.

Phyllis Horowitz Lamoreux, of Sun City Center, Fla., died on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Phyllis was born December 24, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pa., was a longtime resident of New Jersey, but lived in sunny Florida for more than 20 years, loving every minute of it.
Phyllis was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend to many in her lifetime, and was known as an intelligent, fiercely strong, and independent woman. Phyllis worked for the Internal Revenue Service for more than 25 years. Once she retired, she became a real estate agent, and devoted many volunteer hours to local animal shelter C.A.R.E.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters Deborah Lamoreux and Judith Lamoreux El Masri; their spouses Anne Knowlton and Haitham El Masri; granddaughter Leila El Masri; brother Bernard (Marilyn) Horowitz; niece and nephews Cara Horowitz Grunspan, Greg Horowitz and Stephen Horowitz; and a devoted group of Sun City Center friends.
