David George Domroes, 87, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away on March 2, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Greta; son Matthew; sisters Doris and Phyllis; and brother Paul.
He is survived by his second wife; Elaine; daughter Cynthia and her two children, Jennifer (Adam) and Steven; son Mark (Sara) and their two children, Chloe and Courtney; daughter Lisa; and daughter Rebecca and her two children, Nicholas and Cecelia.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, N.Y.
<h3><b>James Gordon Murray, DDS</b></h3>
Jim was born Sept. 25, 1930, and died Feb 19, 2015. He was born in Minneapolis, Minn., to Leonard and Olive Murray.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy; sons Dr. Michael (Candi) Murray, Kevin (Huddie) Murray, James Murray and Brian Murray; and daughter Kathy (Tom) Romine. Also surviving are four stepchildren, 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Leota Murray.
Jim graduated from Northwestern University and Loyola University of Dentistry. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. He served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.
Jim was a former member of the Gull Lake Country Club, Kalamazoo Country Club, Venice Golf & Country Club, and Caloosa Country Club.
He practiced dentistry in Kalamazoo for 38 years. He was a life member of the Kalamazoo Dental Society, the Michigan Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society.
Upon retirement, Jim and his wife resided in Venice, Fla., for 18 years, where he continued his love of golf, then in Sun City Center, Fla. Jim attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Jim is greatly missed by his family, friends and golf buddies. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the Venice Golf & Country Club, 250 Venice Golf Club Drive, Venice, FL 34292.
