Judie Harding of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Waverly, Pa., died Tuesday, June 30th at home surrounded by her husband and three sons. She is survived by her husband Thomas T. Harding, and they were married for 54 years.  Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Hugh J. and Mary Hetherson Connor, and was a graduate  of St. Paul’s High School, Class of 1958, Scranton.

Surviving are sons Thomas H. Harding and wife Dana of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; Timothy T. Harding and wife Denise of Glenburn, Pa.; and Christopher C. Harding and wife Christine of Wellesley, Mass.; sister Barbara Quinn of Scranton; grandchildren Connor, Alena, Shannon, Neil, Thomas and Meagan; a wonderful group of cousins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Barry Connor.

Judie was a very talented artist, exceptional jewelry designer and builder, expert cook and singer of songs. She prided herself in knowing a song for just about any occasion imaginable. Within her family and circle of friends, she was known as the organizer of the best Easter Egg hunts ever experienced; St. Patrick’s Day parties that were unparalleled;  and wonderful “Hooleys” celebrated in her kitchen. In this life, her family always came first, and Judie took every occasion to show pride in each and every member of the family.

The funeral was Monday, July 6, at the Albert P. O’Donnell Funeral Home in Dunmore, Pa., with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Clarks Summit, Pa. Interment was at Saint Catherine’s Cemetery.
